What types of treatment?
Evidence-Based Treatment
The challenges we face in life are completely individual to us. It may sound like a cliche but it’s a fact. That’s why I strongly believe that working with you as a unique individual is paramount. For this reason, as an integrative therapist, I draw from various types of evidence-based psychological therapies when needed, tailored to you and your situation. Ultimately, this increases the opportunity of applying what works best for you.
I’ll try not to be too full of psychobabble jargon. Yet, in order to be transparent and allow you a more informed decision, I generally apply a Cognitive Behavioural framework over a Person-Centred foundation. My training and experience allows me to draw from the modalities listed.
I believe we are all capable of change if we find the right direction, and working in this way allows us more options to achieve success. Not hindered by a set therapy style, whilst remaining focused on your individual situation.
Despite this, I realise therapeutic approaches are probably the last thing on your mind, no doubt there are more important issues you're trying to deal with. To reassure you, it is not like you have to decide, I openly discuss and integrate tools with you in a safe, strategic and seamless process, meaning you don’t even have to think about it!
